OfSted Outstanding Literacy All lessons Starter: With a new shift in focus for the 2012 framework that means that teaching and learning can only be judged outstanding if literacy and numeracy are encorporated across the curriculum, I am making a daily starter / settler activity that can be incorporated into all lessons. I designed these very simple self evaluation questionairres for pupils as part of their mentoring process. Pupils fill these in by asking teachers their levels and it encourages them to take ownership of their learning.
