This is one of a series of lessons that I am uploading on the old AQA anthology poems. Writing To Describe Techniques & Stimulus PP This is a full lesson PP on the topic of writing to describe - I've uploaded 13 in total from this series and all have avrious different stimuli but use the same techniques of appealing to the senses and covering writing techniques. Alll can be used together or as standalone - just may need some adapting to your own topic.

This is taught to develop pupils comparing skills and would be relevant to the AQA new specification for language and poetry. This particular resource is a detailed worksheet that explains the fomrat of the sonnet.

These are the first lessons of a scheme of work that covers all areas of the AQA GCSE exam for English. Taught to pupils with low Ds who were trying to get to C, this breaks down all of the questions and teaches pupils how they should tackle them. Amazing Places – PLTS and Intro Lesson This is a full lesson PowerPoint that is ready to teach (with resources if applicable) – although you will wish to adapt it for your own context – it’s part of a Humanities curriculum that is taught to Year 7 pupils, so covers Geography, History and Literacy skills. There are a series of lessons that I have uploaded. They can be taught as a group, or as a standalone as each is an entire complete lesson. Titanic SOW for Level 2/3 pupils(in KS3) lesson This is one full lesson plan with the pp and resources (if I made them) that is part of a full scheme of work that I have uploaded. There are 18 lessons altoghter and they have all been uploaded separately. In some cases, there is only a lesson plan as I've planned it but not made all the PPs. I will add PPs as I create them. Aimed at year 7 who are below level 4 and utilises lots of Kagan practice.

This is a Primary School Transition Questionairre that I use on a module for year 7s to ask them how they are feeling about secondary school, as they join us. Useful to tie into any transition units - but will need adapting for your school.

This is a full days worth of planning that was done for year 11 in December - getting them ready for the new exam in january - It can be adapted but contains tasks, mark schemes, writing inspiration etc. Very good resource that had brilliant C grade results - aimed at D / C grade pupils.

This is part of a full scheme of work - all uploaded as separate powerpoints, as they are separate resources under the title 'Ballads Full Scheme of Work; Lesson Number' There are up 14 lessons, but the last three are covered by a writing frame as lessons 11 - 14.
