Apprentice Scheme - Analytical Writing - lesson 3 This is one of a series of 6 lessons that are modelled on the Junior Apprentice. Pupils are encouraged to invent their own Ice Cream Product and launch it . They write a pitch for their product which can be assessed - either against FS level 2 criteria in English or NC APP levels. Reading Challenge Lesson 3 These are a series of lessons and pps that were designed to support the delivery of the Dfes unit of work on Reading Skills. Pullman's Frankenstein - SOW - Full lesson PP This is lesson 1 of a full scheme of work with 12 lessons - all created on pp and uplaoded separately - The scheme results in pupils writing their own gothic play and performing it to the class. ideal for Level 4/5 readers and writers and great for a Speaking and listening activity. 12 lessons plus resources all uploaded.

This is one of a series of lessons/ activities / worksheets that I am uploading on the old AQA anthology poems. The lessons obviously have a comparative strand running through them and there are lessons for all of the poems from Cluster 1 and 2 uploaded as well as lessons that compare two poems or teach how to analyse them / compare them. Obviously no use for the old spec, but entirwely useful for the poetry comparison piece of controlled assesment in the new AQA spec.

Titanic SOW for Level 2/3 pupils(in KS3) lesson This is one full lesson plan with the pp and resources (if I made them) that is part of a full scheme of work that I have uploaded. There are 18 lessons altoghter and they have all been uploaded separately. In some cases, there is only a lesson plan as I've planned it but not made all the PPs. I will add PPs as I create them. Aimed at year 7 who are below level 4 and utilises lots of Kagan practice.

This is a scheme of full lessons and assessment material that that I wrote for GCSE controlled assessment for comparing Shakespeare's work with poems. The poems being used are Education For Leisure, Hitcher and Stealing and the assessment is about comparing disturbed characters. Lots if language analysis of Shakespeare and teaching pupils how to link themes and ideas. Each lesson is separate with resources embedded at the end.
