Aimed at Yr11 Foundation sets covering jobs and how to say what you would like to be. The activities are differentiated. 2 lessons of 1 hour each. Lesson 1: Starts with conjugation of travailler in all tenses, with “je”, “on” and “ils” line. Then reading to cover the vocabulary of jobs and what each person does “policier - j’arrête les criminels”. Grammar: feminine and masculine of jobs. Lesson 2: Starter contains past paper questions revising Theme 1. The lesson covers qualities for each job (travailleur/euse, courageux/euse) and the type of job (varied, manuel, with good prospects…) with a sentence builder and a writing/speaking activity. Lesson aimed for a set 2 Year 8 and differentiated for a set 5. Objective: give your opinion about different music genres and justify it. This lesson contains activities designed by a colleague that I have used and adapted in my lesson. Lesson 1: Revision of basic opinion in Spanish + introduction of music genres in Spanish (activities from a colleague adapted) Lesson 2: Practice of opinion + music genre in differentiated readings (mix of my resources and my colleague’s). Lesson 3: Writing with a writing frame (differentiated, pushing set 2 a lot further) whilst listening to music (Spanish / French / English). (My resources, except Plenary).

Aimed at Yr10 Foundation / Bottom sets. Lessons covering weather and activities in the simple future. 2 lessons of 50 min / 1 hour divided the following way: Lesson 1: introduction of weather in the simple future (finding out which one goes with the present tense - prior knowledge of the weather). Practice through games and listening task. Lesson 2: Full conjugation of simple future, practice of producing simple future with “je” and “on”.

Aimed at a class of Yr10 Foundation/Bottom sets. Lessons revising weather and using it to create Si clauses sentences using the near future tense. 4 lessons of 50 min / 1 hour divided in: Lesson 1: Revision of weather in the present tense. Lesson 2: Practice of weather expression in games, and listening (weather forecast) / reading / writing task. Lesson 3: Revision of activities in the infinitive, leads up to near future revisions. Lesson 4: Si clauses practice and guided writing.

Lesson that goes through higher level expression in the present tense and the simple future (il pleuvra,…) 5 lessons of 50 min / 1 hour: Lesson 1: quick revision of known weather and parallel with simple future version of the expression + practice. Lesson 2: Listening practice and study of weather in the simple future. Lesson 3: Activities in the simple future + full conjugation of the simple future. Lesson 4: Si clauses practice with simple future. Lesson 5: Speaking practice with prompt cards.

Aimed at Yr10s Foundation/Bottom set. 3 lessons of 50 min / 1 hour covering information to have a conversation in a visitor information center. Lesson 1: basic new vocabulary (open/close…) and writing out sentences using je voudrais/ j’aimerais etc… Lesson 2: Asking questions (grammar point) and listening practice of conversations. Lesson 3: Speaking practice based on ads (basis for this lesson found on TES). Some of the slides have been found on TES from other users and have been adapted to this lesson.

Lesson 1: What there is and isn’t in your city (+ un/une/des or negative + de) Lesson 2: Direction practice Lesson 3: Grammar point: the imperative + speaking practice/game on directions.

Lesson 1: Types of house / geographical features + activites linked with it with “on peut” Lesson 2: Revision of conjugation for ER verbs in the present tense. Weather. Lesson 3: Revision of “on peut” + infinitives. Leading up to the production of a paragraph and a speaking activity answering questions.
