I'm a PE teacher that enjoys making great resources to be used in lessons with my classes. After a few compliments and recommendations I decided to sell on TES.
On TES I mainly have full unit resources for the new OCR GCSE PE (9-1) specification. Each unit will feature all that you need for the unit as I adopt the all-in-one approach, allowing you to get organised before each unit.

This is a set of 28 task cards for trampolining (14 double sided cards). This is a full unit of planning across all years, all you need to do is print and trampolining lessons will be planned for a while.
Each card features teaching points, a diagram, common error corrections and the progressions to work through to perform the skill. Most of the progressions and teaching points are from the British Gymnastics Teachers Resource Pack the received on my Level 2.
The cards are well presented and follow the same easy to use structure. At our school we print them double sided and laminate them. We place each set in a zipped A3 wallet and just use the appropriate set in each lesson. Students can peer assess on the tables on each card with whiteboard pens.
The cards cover all of the skills for the new (2016) GCSE OCR specification.
The skills covered are:
Set 1 (Basic Skills): Controlled Straight Bouncing, Tuck, Pike, Straddle, Half Twist, Full Twist.
Set 2 (Seat Landing Skills): Seat Landing, Seat Landing Half Twist, Half Twist Seat Landing, Swivel Hips.

Here is a selection of 14 display posters that look at literacy in PE.
Each poster covers a different sport and features keywords from the sport, these have been created in line with the new GCSE specification and feature core and advanced skills.
Together they make an eye catching display and have been very popular with our students. We have also displayed them on boards in lessons to encourage students to use the terminology in discussions.
Also attached is an A3 title page which discusses 'Literacy in PE', we have this in the middle of our display board.
The sports featured are athletics, badminton, cricket, dance, fitness, football, gymnastics, handball, hockey, netball, rugby, tennis, trampolining and volleyball.
If you like these I also have Numeracy in PE displays on my page.
As a result of having end of year exams across all subjects at our school I have created this end of year exam for Year 7.
I have based this on the new specification in preparation for those who opt for GCSE PE.
Whilst it is challenging the content can be and probably already is taught through practical lessons to avoid missing any practical time (muscular system, components of fitness, training methods, warming up etc).
Included in this resources is the following:
- 40 mark exam paper featuring multiple choice and short answer questions.
- The mark scheme.
- A revision booklet to print and give to students to revise.
- A revision powerpoint to go through in lesson, we use one lesson prior to the exam to recap this content.
This resource would be great value for anyone who needs to create a key stage 3 exam or revamp their current one to correspond to the new specification.
Year 8 end of year exam also available.
This is an A3 double sided revision mat for the third unit of the new OCR GCSE PE specification (2016) - 1.2.a The Components of Fitness.
Each part of the specification has its own box where students recall then apply their knowledge to sporting examples. It is a great recap of the unit.
It has been created on Comic Life and students always like this design.
We also have full units available for the new OCR Specification, please see our other items.
This is a full unit of work for the new OCR GCSE (9-1) PE Specification (2016). Please check out my other resources for more OCR Units just like this one. You can now purchase the full specification bundle from my TES shop.
This will be all you need to deliver unit 1.2.c - Preventing Injury in Physical Activity and Training.
This resource contains the following:
A 51 slide powerpoint covering all aspects of the specification for the unit. This powerpoint contains learning outcomes, all the necessary information for notes, interactive tasks, embedded video clips, whiteboard activities, exam questions, a mini quiz, 6 mark question tips and the answers to the test at the end of the unit. The powerpoint and workbook correspond so there is nothing you need to do other than print the documents.
An 11 page all-in-one workbook created to be completed alongside the powerpoint. This features learning outcomes to self assess against, space to take notes, fun tasks, assessment opportunities and opportunities to apply knowledge to sporting examples.
3 six mark question sheets featuring a six mark question. These feature varying scaffolds and will allow you to give more support to some students and hopefully allow them to access the higher marks whilst all completing the same task.
3 test your knowledge grids, again these are differentiated so that there is an easy, medium and hard version. Each one contains 9 questions for students to answer; this is explained on the powerpoint.
A topic test to be completed at the end of the unit. This contains the questions released by OCR as well as some that have been created for the unit to test each part of the specification. It also includes a 6 mark question. The test is out of 25 marks and the answers feature on the powerpoint to go through with students, I have wrote model answers as well as the OCR mark scheme.
A keywords sheet to be completed at the beginning and then the end of the unit. This is a handy revision tool for students as they can keep the keywords together. It also allows them to see what they have learnt throughout the unit.
This unit has been created in line with the specification and covers each section.
I have not made this resource just to sell it, I take pride in making sure my resources are great and I will be delivering these units myself this year.

We have over 400 5 star reviews on our highly successful GCSE PE units of work and are confident that our new OCR GCSE PE Revision Guide will not disappoint!
This is a 59 page revision booklet/guide for Paper 1 – Physical factors affecting performance (01) of the OCR GCSE (9-1) PE Specification (first examination in 2018).
As a PE teacher who was unsatisfied with the revision guides available on the market I decided to create this for our students. As a department, we believe that this revision guide is as good, if not better than the ones available from publishers. However, with this one you will only need to purchase the file once then print as many as you need for years to come meaning this could offer you excellent value.
The guide has been created in line with the specification to feature <b>everything</b> that students need to know for Paper 1. The information is clear, detailed and displayed in an appealing, easily accessible style for students with supporting images and diagrams. Please see the bottom of this text if you wish to see what is covered.
As well as the information necessary, within the workbook for every aspect of the specification students must apply the knowledge to create a sporting example, practicing assessment objective 2 (AO2). They must do so using one of the six sports people featured in the booklet. By applying their knowledge to sport students can develop greater understanding as opposed to that gained from just reading through their notes. If you have purchased our resources before you will be familiar with our set up.
Also included is a mark scheme for these questions, allowing you to go through these in lessons.
You could use these booklets in lessons in the lead up to the exam as they will take students hours to complete, or they could be provided to work on at home.

If you decide to purchase please leave us a review, especially if you have purchased our items before, we’d love to hear how you’ve found it.

Here is a selection of 14 display posters that look at the components of fitness and applying them to practical examples.
6 of the posters detail the 11 components of fitness with definitions and sporting examples. The other 8 posters feature pictures of sports people with 3 questions on each poster which require students to select and apply the appropriate component of fitness.
Questions on the posters include:
'Which component is needed to win the ball in a scrum?' (Rugby)
'Which component is needed to change directions quickly to save a deflected shot?' (Goalkeeper)
'Which component is needed to hit the ball accurately when batting?' (Cricket)
'Which component is needed to stay withing the throwing circle?' (Discus)
Together they make an eye catching display and have been very popular with our students. We also plan to use them in lessons as they link to GCSE PE.
Also attached is an A3 title page which discusses the components of fitness and introduces the task of answering the sports person questions, we have this in the middle of our display board.
If you like these we also have Numeracy in PE and Literacy in PE displays on our page.
Here are 19 display board posters with famous/inspirational sporting quotes and photos of successful athletes such as Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, Team GB hockey team, New Zealand rugby team, Anthony Joshua, Serena Williams and 13 more.
The posters have been made on photoshop and indesign computer software so that in most cases the athlete appears in colour and the background appear black and white, as a result they are quite eye catching and make a great display in a PE corridor. I advise that they are printed onto A3 paper.

This is a 12 page workbook which students can work through alongside an athletics unit.
The workbook features details on how a unit can be run, we have students in ability groups of four, working through the events so that they are working and then competiting with students of similar ability. The different roles detailed are performer, cameraman, coach and team mate.
The workbook then features assessment criteria, world records for males, females, U13's, U'15 and U'17's, and pages on sprinting, sprint start technique, middle distance running, the 4x100m relay changeover methods, shot put, javelin and long jump.
Each of these pages features teaching points, boxes for self/peer assessment and plenary questions to complete.
On the back of the booklet there is a table for students to record their scores. In this table there is a column which requires students to write how they think they could improve further in the event. I use the Sainsburys athletics criteria to read out the bronze, silver and gold scores and students tick which category they are in. There is also a bunch of flowers for students to tick if they do not hit the bronze target. Within this table there are gaps for extra events/results if you want to complete further events which are not listed.
Students enjoy using the booklets alongside athletics and these also get students into good routines.
