Common Exception Words Year 1 Games

A fantastic interactive PowerPoint designed to practise year 1 common exception words. It will save you the hassle of preparing new activities throughout the year and will help children to memorise the spellings while having fun. There are three ways of using the resource: 1) Spelling out activities (e.g. precision teaching); 2) Word scramble; 3) Hangman game (shark version). The features allow you to pick a word from the spelling list, go to the next/previous slide, go to the contents and renew the page to play a new game with the same word.
