This puzzle match activity requires students to match the root form to the fractional index form. This puzzle consists of 8 roots for students to match to the fractional index form. Answer key included.
In this pennant activity students must evaluate partial fractions to find A and B. These questions are the easiest type of partial fraction without quadratics in the denominator.
Once the pennant is complete it can be hung in the class with string to make a display.
There are 2 pennants per page with a total of 20 pennants and 2 blank pennants for students to create their own (or the teacher to add more difficult questions). Answer key is also included.

This thoughts and crosses activity can be used in a variety of ways to support student learning.
Questions are created in accordance to Bloom’s Taxonomy (apply, create, evaluate etc) and students can use this task in several ways.
Pair work - Students can work in pairs to play noughts and crosses (X’s and O’s). The first student to get 3 in a row correct is the winner. Students can check each others answers. This can be made more challenging by only allowing students to go diagonally or vertically as questions increase in difficulty.
Solo work - Students can choose 3 questions which can be differentiated based on ability. Horizontally on the top row are the easiest questions.
