This short star wars themed activity requires students to find the volume of death stars 1 and 2 by finding key information from the data. Students will have to look for the diameter in the information and use it to compare the volumes of both the death stars. A fun, unique activity to consolidate learning of volume.

In this pennant activity students must evaluate partial fractions to find A and B. These questions are the easiest type of partial fraction without quadratics in the denominator.
Once the pennant is complete it can be hung in the class with string to make a display.
There are 2 pennants per page with a total of 20 pennants and 2 blank pennants for students to create their own (or the teacher to add more difficult questions). Answer key is also included.

This coloring activity is to enhance students learning of multiplying radical expressions. The questions increase in difficulty and require students to multiply and simplify radicals, select the correct answer out of 3 possible answers and color the corresponding question number the correct color.
This can be used as support, a self check exercise, homework, classwork and more.
Students have the opportunity to work on fine motor skills and engage in developing and embedding their understanding.

The pennants in this download are focused on solving systems of equation and include questions with no solution. There are 22 different pennant versions. The questions vary in difficulty as they increase in numbers (1 being the easiest). Answer key is included.

This self-marking activity allows students to apply their knowledge of arithmetic sequences and work backwards to find missing numbers in the series. This is a fun, engaging way to test student understanding and engage them in their learning. There are four different crossnumbers for the students to complete. When they type the correct answer, the box will turn green. If it is wrong, the box will turn red!

This thoughts and crosses activity can be used in a variety of ways to support student learning.
Questions are created in accordance to Bloom’s Taxonomy (apply, create, evaluate etc) and students can use this task in several ways.
Pair work - Students can work in pairs to play noughts and crosses (X’s and O’s). The first student to get 3 in a row correct is the winner. Students can check each others answers. This can be made more challenging by only allowing students to go diagonally or vertically as questions increase in difficulty.
Solo work - Students can choose 3 questions which can be differentiated based on ability. Horizontally on the top row are the easiest questions.
Perfect for extending, challenging and differentiating in the classroom. Can be used as homework, group work, display activities or pair work.
