A lesson looking at a range of Wonders of the World. Main 7 are included but natural and historical ones are added too. Video is included as well as information sheets for each Wonder. Pupils can work on their own or as a group to come up and rank the best 4 - give reasons why and compare! Homework before is to give each pupil a wonder of the world and find out for themselves what makes if a wonder.
This lesson can be used for in class and online. The lesson focuses on the climate of the UK (temperature and precipitation). Map skills are enhanced. The lesson looks at 3 cloud types with opportunities to be creative. The lesson also looks at the 3 different types of rainfall (frontal, convectional and relief). Lots of opportunities for self assessment!

Pupils can plot on a map the country, a brief description, draw the flag and rank the traditions. Loads of room for pupils to choose what to do - poster, fact-file etc. Good for tutorial time too!
