Made for AQAPsychology A-level but could be easily adapted for other boards. This is a presentation I work through with my students while they are revising research methods - it includes over 60 slides (some with content and some with indications of a task to complete). I usually teach short sections of research methods and then get them to complete the activities in the corresponding booklet. This took me 3-4 lessons of 90 minutes each to complete it all but some could be set for homework. This includes a sample essay on designing research and a summary table for features of science which are areas students often struggle with. Full lesson including a powerpoint (with 4-5 video links) and 5 activities to complete on the endocrine system. Designed for the AQA Psychology biopsychology module. It outlines the endocrine system and then goes into the fight or fight response. There is a notes sheet included which the students take notes into from the powerpoint as the lesson progresses and it has imbedded activities in it for them to do too (e.g an independent task using Cat book). Activities include a card sort and a body picture to label for the endocrine system.

A full lesson for the AQA Approaches topic Origins of Psychology Has a powerpoint and notes sheet that is completed as the powerpoint is worked through. Several applied activities and videos included Also has some exam questions and simplified mark schemes so the students can have a go at marking them themselves.

A couple revision lessons on the approaches - would take me at least 2-3 hours probably to cover this as its a 66 slide ppt with 10 documents in total. Couldlast even more if you get them to try out some of the exam questions and do all the worksheets. PPT: Has short summaries of each of the approaches and then a series of exam questions, on each approach, to show key exam technique, advice for answering and sometimes sample answers. Included is a student version with blanks to fill in, or to use to test their knowledge before going over each topic. Documents: Includes a couple essay answer samples as well and lots of summary quick recall activities (blank table, key word knowledge check, crossword etc).

It covers: Evaluation Comparison Application Terminology (e.g use of the words reliability and validity) It gives advice and examples to demonstrate how to succeed in AQA exams. Great for a revision lesson with students.
