Made for AQAPsychology A-level but could be easily adapted for other boards. This is a presentation I work through with my students while they are revising research methods - it includes over 60 slides (some with content and some with indications of a task to complete). I usually teach short sections of research methods and then get them to complete the activities in the corresponding booklet. This took me 3-4 lessons of 90 minutes each to complete it all but some could be set for homework. This includes a sample essay on designing research and a summary table for features of science which are areas students often struggle with. Full lesson including a powerpoint (with 4-5 video links) and 5 activities to complete on the endocrine system. Designed for the AQA Psychology biopsychology module. It outlines the endocrine system and then goes into the fight or fight response. There is a notes sheet included which the students take notes into from the powerpoint as the lesson progresses and it has imbedded activities in it for them to do too (e.g an independent task using Cat book). Activities include a card sort and a body picture to label for the endocrine system.

This is a full lesson of resources for the first two lessons (2-3 hours of teaching) for the Psychodynamic Approach. It includes Levels of Consciousness, Defence mechanisms and Id, Ego and Superego. There are numerous activities and lots of video links throughout and a fun plenary desert island discussion activity which demonstrates the conflicts of Id, Ego and Superego. This is a revision lesson on correlations, questionnaires and interviews. It is designed for second years, having already covered it in detail in the first year. It includes a ppt and a notes sheet with activities throughout to check learning. The students complete the notes sheet as we work through the ppt so they have some bits to fill in and activities to complete.
