This Powerpoint aims to educate students on the fundamental of cryptocurrency. The philosophical underpinnings and underlying motivation for the creating for a blockchain network to house virtual currency. The key themes for this presentation are to inquire into the role of early technology, its evolution over time, and adoption to becoming mainstream. Whether or not this is the case for cryptocurrencies remains to be seen, but the process of inquiry is important here nonetheless.
