Many sources are suitable for both GCSE and BTEC courses. These resources are currently taught in an 11-18 non-selective school so are suitable for a broad range of abilities. Portraiture GCSE Full SOW Y10/11 - Drawing Techniques and 2D/3D outcome

Year 10 and Year 11 unit of work. Workshop based 2D 3D making such as grid drawing, watercolour, continuous line, collage, drawing with wire, paper mache heads and 3D ceramic work all based on portraiture. Various approaches for all abilities. Pupils will go on to produce their own piece of work in response to the topic and the artists they have studied. Has been taught to both AQA GCSE and BTEC students and has been successful in achieving high grades for pupils in both exam boards.
