AQA GCSE: The Atmosphere Revision: Chemistry Paper 2
8-page resource designed to provide structure to student’s revision when studying the atmosphere for their Paper 2 Chemistry GCSE exam.
The resource is designed to be printed as an 8-page booklet that could be completed in class/revision sessions or at home and contains the following:
Page 1: Information that students need to know about the atomosphere.
Page 2: Space to complete some structured revision in which students complete a “read, cover, write, check” task.
Page 3: Space to complete their own summary with some prompts for how this could be done/presented.
Page 4: Structured task around the topic.
Page 5: Grid of questions for students to complete using the information on page 1.
Page 6: Selection of past exam questions from AQA.
Page 7: Selection of past exam questions from AQA.
Page 8: Exam question answers.
This is part of a series of resources which will be updated in more parts as they are produced.
AQA GCSE C5 L3 Displacement Reactions
This is a lesson on Displacement Reactions designed for the new AQA GSCE. Included is the lesson PowerPoint and some of the accompanying resources. This is the 3rd lesson out of 10 for my C5 Scheme of Work.
The C5 Scheme of Work includes the following lessons:

AQA GCSE C3 Work Booklet: Structure and Bonding
A digital work booklet suitable for AQA GCSE Trilogy Science and Separate Science. Can be used for learning in both the classroom and at home. This booklet covers C3 Structure and Bonding.
At the start of the booklet there is a clear topic overview, with all outcomes for lessons and links to previous topics are clearly identified. Content that is covered in the higher tier and Separate Science only is clearly signposted throughout the booklet and so these booklets can be used if studying for either foundation tier or higher tier and if studying Separate Science or Combined Science.
What is in Each Lesson:
Each lesson has clear outcomes that are closely linked to the specification and introduces students to the key knowledge that they are required to know in a clear condensed way. This is followed by some core tasks that are designed as an opportunity for students to develop and consolidate new ideas. Finally, there are lots of questions for exam practice that have been clearly identified as levels 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9.

Structure of the Revision Session:
The structure of my revision sessions is pretty consistent. In a typical revision session there is:
• A starter task which summarises the key questions of the revision session.
• Core information to support learning around LO1
• Tasks and/or exam question practice for LO1
• This is then repeated for LO2 and LO3
• A plenary task in which students revisit the starting key questions and make improvements.
• Answers are modelled throughout

AQA Science Paper 2 Revision Booklets for 2022
A set of revision booklets designed for students who are sitting the AQA GCSE Science exams in the summer of 2022. There is a specific booklet for Biology, Chemistry and Physics for:
Triolgy Science 1F
Trilogy Science 1H
Triple Science 1F
Triple Science 1H
These booklets have been adapted specifically for the 2022 exams following the release of materials and guidance from AQA in February. Each booklet has been carefully designed to ensure that only content that AQA have identified will definitely be in their exam papers is included. If you have purchased my previous booklets, please note that some of the pages are the same, however many have been edited. I have also added lots of new model answers and addded a section on the required practicals and so there is lots of new/amended material in these booklets.
The booklets has been designed to support students with the content of the curriculum and provide them with lots of short and extended response questions (along with model answers) that students can learn and practice.
Within the revision booklet the is:
• An overview of the exam including the topics that they will be assessed on
• A selection of shorter response questions that are frequently assessed for the topics/content that we know will be in their exam.
• For each topic there is also a selection of predictions for possible extended response questions that are likely to come up in the exam series of 2022. Within this section there is clear guidance on how the question should be approached, along with a model answer and further practice that students can complete.
• Required practicals that we know will be in the exam. For this section there is an overview of the practical method which is then followed by some short response questions and then some extended response questions.
Revision booklets for all papers are available through my Store. Other bundles of these booklets available include a paper 1 bundle and a complete bundle with all of the paper 1 and 2 booklets.

AQA Chem Paper 1: Knowledge Organisers: Revision
A set of knowledge organisers that covers all content for the AQA Chemistry Paper 1. The knowledge organisers are broken down into the following topics:
C1 Atomic Structure
C2 Periodic Table
C3 Structure and Bonding
C4 Chemical Calculations
C5 Chemical Changes
C6 Electrolysis
C7 Energy Changes
Knowledge organisers are included for the Chemistry and Trilogy Specification. For the Trilogy Specification some of the organisers are broken down into Higher and Foundation where appropiate.
Each knowledge organiser has the content condensed down to 1 page, with the exception of the C4 Chemistry topic. This has two additional pages to model to students how to complete different calculations.
I set these knowledge organisers as homework each week as part of revision. The following week assess students through quizzes in starters and plenaries.

AQA Crude Oil and Fuels Key Words Puzzle

AQA GCSE C5 Chemical Changes Sequence of Lessons
This is a sequence of lessons that I use for teaching the topic C5 Chemical Changes for the new AGA GCSE. This can be used to teach students following both the Trilogy Course and the Chemistry Course.
