A set of 5 different games of thoughts and crosses that can be used as a starter, plenary and/or revision task. This works best when students work in pairs. The task is that the students have to compete to get three in a row. Which ever way they decide to try and get three in a row the questions include a range of difficulty - there is no easy pathway! These sheets cover all of the main areas from the additional science unit. There are versions available for Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Students compete to get the lowest score. This can either be played as a full class or the cards can be printed out and students compete against each other in small groups.
