A short scheme of work that looks at the period table and then makes some materials like pykrete (concrete that is made of ice) and then some plastic (from milk). A great way to expand and make links to real world.

These are printed out and then cut out. The windows on the top sheet are cut out to reveal the word and its definition below. These work best if the two sheets are secured with a pin.
This is great for keyword revision and for students working in groups testing each other.
