I am a Teacher of MFL in an inner city school which over the last five years has achieved outstanding results in MFL. My shop includes a collection of my resources including for GCSE French and the innovative projects created for the Y7 project based curriculum such as Les Monsieurs-Madames. Please note that the money I make from my sales goes to support my son who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy a life limiting condition to get the equipment and treatment abroad that he needs.

I made this for my Y10 mixed ability French group today on the cinema. It includes: -types of films -opinions films translation task a sorting grid starter slides to display as pupils enter the room two bingo games a climb the Eiffel tower game -pupils print the sheet or play it on paper by numbering 1-12. model answers for answering questions on film preferences and films that they like -include foundation and higher tier (higher structures highlighted in purple)

This lesson revises sport in the present and the imperfect tenses, time expressions and opinions. It also explains the use of depuis with the present and the imperfect tense. It includes a knowledge organiser on sport and a sheet of vocabulary to complete ate the end of the lesson with 30 translations on core vocabulary from French to English and then 30 from English to French. Other features are sentence builders with codes, write the highest scoring sentence as a starter. There are also notes at the bottom which explain how you can run activities either online or face to face within the classroom. Higher and foundation phrases are taught so it is ideal for a mixed ability group.

Two puzzles that focus on the top 20 and top 35 most commonly used words and phrases that appear on the Edexcel candidate and Teacher cards. These are taken from the specimen materials, 2018 and 2019. Students translate the words using the wordseaches as support. I have added a reminder about adding accents to some words found in the wordsearch. Wordsearch solutions are also included.

It then goes on to revise and consolidate on the modal verb devoir and includes a race up the Eiffel tower game and a verb drill sheet to secure student knowledge on this grammar point. There is also a dicey dialogue sheet to practice key questions and basic answers prior to students answering questions independently.

A lesson which hopefully will revise many aspects of school life and help students to prepare for the photo card part of the speaking exam. The lesson materials are differentiated for foundation and higher students and can be used in a mixed ability/mixed tier class. The lesson includes revision of language to be used when describing a photo and revision of the present tense endings. There is also a differentiated worksheet for foundation and higher students which provides some support for understanding and structuring answers for the bullet points.
