I created these activities for my year 6 class. There is a reading log with vocabulary and comprehension questions based on each chapter of the book. There are also some creative writing and art ideas to accompany the book. I have included a review page which can be printed on the back of the book cover design page.

I have based my example on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, but you could have any theme. This is a resource containing 31 weeks of spelling lists which I have used with a Year1/2 mixed class. Each list has an option of 8 or 10 words and can be photocopied and given to the children for homework. Obviously you could adapt the lists to suite your own class, but the framework is there.
