3.9 Strategic Methods: how to pursue strategies; comprises; organic and external growth, Greiner, economies and diseconomies of scale, synergy, innovation, kaizen, trading internationally, Bartlett and Ghoshal and digital technology
3.7 Analysing the strategic position of a business (Part Two) comprises; SWOT, PESTLE, CSR, Porter five forces, payback, ARR, net present value and sensitivity analysis.
3.7 Analysing the strategic position of a business (Part One) comprises; mission, objectives, strategy, tactics, profitability, gearing, liquidity, Kaplan and Norton, Elkington, PESTLE, growth, exchange rates, fiscal and monetary policies.
3.6 Decision making to improve human resource performance comprises; human resource objectives, internal and external influences, labour turnover , labour retention, productivity, job design, organisational design, HR plans, motivation and improving employer/employee relations.
3.5 Decision making to improve financial performance comprises; investment, capital structure, costs, revenues, profit, contribution, break-even, cash-flow, budgets, variance analysis and sources of finance.

Marketing Part One comprises; an introduction to marketing, market research, sampling, time-series analysis, correlation, confidence levels and elasticity.
Business A level is suitable for use as; a self-study course, for examination revision and booster sessions, private tuition and cover work for staff absence which can be delivered by a non-specialist teacher. It is a complete 10 unit course covering; Introduction to Business, Management and Leadership, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Business Strategy (3) and Managing Change.
It comprises question and answer Powerpoint videos delivered with the teacher on screen . It is accompanied by student friendly note taking material which can be easily monitored. Also included are conventional editable Powerpoint slides ( in excess of 1000). Each unit is assessed by a multiple-choice section with solutions.
