‘Exploring the Holocaust Project’’ is an ideal activity to be used at the end of the unit 'Exploring the Holocaust’. It is designed to be used over a number of weeks and it is flexible in that you can choose how much time to spend on each section.
Aim of this research:
Teaching Holocaust history demands a high level of sensitivity and awareness of the complexity of the subject matter. It is hoped that this research project will provide your students with a clearer understanding of the Holocaust as a story for all of humanity and will encourage them to think critically about important issues and values not only within the historical context of the Holocaust, but also in contemporary society.
‘Exploring the Holocaust Part 3– Celebrating success’ is the third in a series of resources which assists teachers and students to research various ways in which different people reacted to the Nazi regime and produce a report which fully investigates the chosen topic. In Part 3, students peer- and self-assess the projects, reflect on their learning and celebrate success.

This lesson is designed to meet the standards of the new Higher RMPS exam (valid from August 2016).
It helps pupils to explain to explain the key words: kamma, skilful and unskilful actions, to give examples of skilful and unskilful actions and to identify benefits and difficulties of this teaching. It requires 1-2 periods to be completed.

It helps pupils to explain the meaning of Samsara, to describe the wheel of life, to interpret possible implications of Samsara for the lives of Buddhists, to identify one key belief and one key practice related to Samsara and to analyse the significance of it.
