I am an Early Years teacher who loves to get lost in a topic, finding creative and exciting ways to stimulate children's learning and encourage their desire to learn as a whole. If you want a topic planned, I am available for hire, or, alternatively, see what I already have on offer.

I am the RE Co-ordinator in a Warwickshire school. As SACRE have decided not to provide new units until 2024 I have been revamping the current ones. My aim with regards learners is to make them more interactive, interesting, appropriate. In Teacher talk this means I have cut out the time wasting, added links which work, added differentiated activities, drawn on the new Warwickshire SACRE assessment and presented it using Rosenshines principles.
Feedback so far has been really positive, from both staff and learners.
In order to do this I have searched the internet for the best resources, drawn on the very best, piking out relevant parts only and added my own knowledge (I have a BA Hons 2.1 in the Study of Religions & 13 years experience of being an RE Co-ordinator).
Pre visit lesson, information, questionnaires for the actual visit (teacher made), itinerary for the day, photographs etc. Everything a KS1 teacher will need for a trip to Warwick castle; all prepared by a very experienced teacher.
Following Warwickshire SACRE’s decision to not provide new units until 2024, I have decided to revamp those already in place.
I have added new links (which work), differentiated activities, success criteria, linked in the new Warwickshire SACRE assessment and presented it using Rosenshine’s principles. Importantly, I have removed the `unneccessary extras’ which often appear but do not further learning according to staff and children’s feedback.
In order to do this I have drawn on my own subject knowledge (I have a BA Hons 2.1 in the Study of Religions), edited or drawn from existing resources and feedback from staff and children.
