I used a form of this during lockdown with year 8 but have adapted and added it to it to suit the classroom. Student engagement was fantastic- they were really interested and created some brilliant work.
There are two moments in this scheme where students ideally need use of a phone. However this can be easily adapted if it goes against your school policy/if students don’t have access to one. There is also one lesson that would work better in computer room but can be done hand written if this is not possible.
I also have other schemes available :)
This scheme is comprised of 8 lessons with the aim to introduce students to the drama basics including voice, physicality, tableaux, thought tracking and group work.
Included in this bundle are
8 powerpoint lessons
8 lesson plans
1 knowledge organiser
8 homework tasks
1 written evaluation and written supporting documents
1 performance assessment grid
This scheme is based on the TV programme ‘I’m a celebrity get me out of here’. Students will create their own celebrity characters and create a short performance based around events in camp. This could be easily adapted to accommodate a different show or a fictional one.
If you do purchase please leave a review :)
