P Level Maths Assessment - number
Assessment for Learning. This is my attempt at creating some form of assessment for secondary school pupils who are working on P levels, because i couldn't find anything. I&'ve made it by going through descriptions of the levels and trying to think of tasks. Hope you find it useful. Please if you have anything more suitable please give me a message becasue i&';m desparate for something good.
GCSE Maths: BIDMAS / BODMAS worksheet
A simple worksheet with starter / main and extension on order of operations.
KS3 easy to read Pie Charts PowerPoint
A KS3 powerpoint activity showing how to find the frequencies of groups from pie charts which can easily be split into fractions. Some questions at the end.
Prime Factor Decomposition, HCF and LCM PowerPoint
A KS3 PowerPoint showing prime factor decomposition and how to use this to find HCF and LCM, didn't want to cover it in text so you'll have o do the talking, there are questions for students to practise with.
KS3 Maths Angles in triangle starter puzzle
There are 13 angles on a slide and they can be grouped to make the angles of 4 triangles with 1 angle left out. Students have to find the odd one out.

A PowerPoint introducing perimeter with a little animation, and some questions for pupils to practise. Ideal as a lesson for KS3 and GCSE students.

A KS3 scatter graphs worksheet with starter main and extension. Includes correlation , drawing lines of best fit and estimating values using the line of best fit
Find the mistake: mixed numbers/improper fractions
KS2 and KS3 Maths Powerpoint. Numbers activity - writing improper (top heavy) fractions as mixed numbers. Suitable as a starter and plenary. 10 questions where some are done incorrectly, students have to try to spot the wrong ones, answers at the end with a link so you can go back to the questions to talk about what has gone wrong.
Drawing straight line graphs using the equation
KS3 Maths activity. A new and improved powerpoint with animations showing how to quickly plot lines whose equations are in the form y=mx + c. there are some questions asking students to find the gradient and intercept and a load of examples of how to draw the lines, then some lines for them to draw at the end.
Extention asks students to draw lines wih same gradient to see if they can spot that they are parallel
GCSE - The Quadratic Equation - Powerpoint
A PowerPoint with examples of how to use the quadratic equation, showing what a,b and c are then examples with 2,1 and 0 solutions, then there are some questions. Little 10 question starter on substitution to start.
Ideal for GCSE lessons.

A KS3 / GCSE statistics. A PowerPoint showing how to create scatter graphs and the different types of correlations. Some data at the end to create scatter graphs from. One question accidently gave the wrong sort of correlation, but the discussion that came from it was really good so i kept the mistake in.
Maths Finding the gradient powerpoint
A powerpoint going through how to find the gradient between 2 points with some examples and questions and answers at the end. Shows the difference between positive and negative and large and small gradients.
30 Number Starters- Multiple Choice Quizzes
A PowerPoint with 30 multiple choice quizzes, good for AFL if you give students cards labelled a,b,c,d to wave. Ideal for KS3 and GCSE students. Includes lots of percentage work, decimals, addition, multiplication and division practise, rounding, decimals, primes, squares, HCF, LCM.
