For several years I worked with Easylearn publishers, developing resources for children struggling with English and Maths. I am one of the creators of the Froggy Match-it phonics app, which helps beginner readers to learn to read and spell effectively.

Helps to develop and consolidate phonic skills. Little non-phonic writing is required and the clear, easy format enables independent working. Successfully used with older students struggling with phonics to help them to catch up or to give them a fresh start. Ideal for revision and homework and suitable for a wide age range. The 40 pages in book 3 cover the various graphemes for the long vowel phonemes, alternative pronunciations for some graphemes and alternative spellings/silent letters. These sheets give an interesting focus for young, beginner writers. They can be used for all types of writing including narratives, descriptions, reports etc. There is a good mix of topics: the themes were suggested by children and their teachers. Each sheet comes in three formats: no lines, wide lines and narrower lines. The Yellow Book has 33 topics, including The Giant and Basketball. A Blue Picture Writing Sheets Book is also available: the same format, just different topics. Previously sold through Easylearn.

The two Money Books complement practical money work and are excellent for use as consolidation material when pupils are learning to solve problems involving money. This book looks at recognising, sorting and counting coins, using and calculating amounts of money up to 10p, finding exact sums to pay for items up to 10p, and giving change to 10p. There is a wide range of interesting tasks to achieve understanding. Reading is kept to a minimum but important mathematical vocabulary is included.
