Writing Sheet for a magic potion
A video featuring a range of faces, foods from around the world, architecture and landscapes and celebrations form around the world. The video opens with a quote about the diversity and closes with the line 'One human race'.
The video should provide springboard for discussion and reflection.
To follow this up I have produced some worksheets featuring things form the video- 5 versions- food, music, sports, transports and festivals from around the world. They can label and colour these and a lovely quote is included at the top about respecting difference and valuing others.
A song to the tune of Jingle Bells for beginner learners.
Chorus: ‘Qu’est-ce que c’est?
De quelle couleur?
Il y a combien?’
And 10 lines for individual pupils to shout out ‘une etoile jaune’, ‘sept chausettes roses’ etc.
Good practice of colours and numbers and a lovely way for KS1 learners to demonstrate what they have learnt- could even be performed in an assembly.
40 Task Cards and game board.
The task cards vary in difficulty from multiple choice to translations.
This set is a Christmas theme and is an excellent follow up to my Christmas PowerPoint presentation.
All you need is willing pupils with some spare coins for counters. You don't even need dice.
I have used this myself and it is a great way to let the pupils loose and engage in something challenging and exciting. Add an element of competition and you are on to a winner!

The booklets are numbered and can be printed off for pupils. They can also be displayed as a PowerPoint or printed off in large format and used as display posters.

The second in a series of ‘doodle’ sheets. These sheets include a comprehension page where the boxes have been filled with text so teachers can use as a reading activity and pupils can use as a model for writing.
These second page has empty boxes for pupils to write their own answers in.
Also included are two one page learning sheets with lots of the vocab pupils will need to complete the task.
The design is an important feature- I am trying to create something that will appeal to pupils aesthetically- something they will take their time with and take pride in.
As comprehensive Power Point presentation for the topic of ‘At the tourist office’. Over 50 phrases pupils will need to understand or say in the role play task and sample role plays to go through with support and suggested answers. Also includes some language games for a dozen nouns you might need in the tourist info office such as ‘a map of the town’ and ‘train timetables’ etc.
If you are preparing your pupils for role play tasks or need some revision material, my ‘At the hotel’ bundle is great value and covers all the vocabulary for the role play task.

Greta for the last few lessons when pupils wnat to feel like they are having an easy lesson but you are actually giving them something really useful and meaningful.
Each worsheet has 5 garlands witht eh verb conjugated along the garland. the garland below has some of the conjugations removed for the pupils to fill in. he final garland at the bottom of the page is cimpletely blank for pupils to fill in from memory.
