This is a presentation on the suffragist, Millicent Fawcett, who was chosen as the first female to have a statue in Parliament Square. The presentation covers Fawcett's childhood, early political involvement and the successful suffrage movement. This is a 5 lesson Literacy unit all about explorer Christopher Columbus. The plan is aimed at year 2 and gives details of the year 2 curriculum objectives covered.
