Lesson to introduce students to the conversation part of the GCSE Speaking exam. Used for Y10 students for their end of year speaking exam, but can be useful for revisions. Created for AQA GCSE but easily adapted for other exam boards. Includes: Exercise to revise question words Listening activity to focus on the tense of the question (sentences for the teacher to read out - students need to focus on tense and time phrases) table for students to write out specific structures to express opinions, varied vocabularies and adjectives, structures and connectives. This sheet can then be used for students as a revision sheet.

Powerpoint that can be used across several lessons to introduce/revise the present tense. The first part of the slide is targeted more at beginners/KS3 and focuses on regular -er verbs. It is linked to the topic of school routine, with a starter focused on telling the time. It comes with grammar explanations and practice exercises, a listening (teacher reading out sentences) and a writing activity. The rest of the slide introduces a focus on the 4 main irregular verbs (être, avoir, aller, faire), as well as explanations + an exercise on all 3 types of verbs (-ER, -IR and RE). **Answers are included in the slides, and handouts are as well **(slides with white backgroud) ready to be printed !
