A short introduction to describing pumpkins, both on the outside and inside. Activity inspired by A-Z Teacher Stuff (lessons atoz) to make a non fiction pumpkin book. Children to write words, phrases or sentences to describe the outside and inside of the pumpkin. Can cut orange wool and seeds to stick on the inside of the book to illustrate.

A SMART notebook file to be used to introduce my class to the concept of a Christmas tree festival. We will be creating tree decs based on our class theme of the value of peace through making doves. The content also includes a short history of the introduction of Christmas trees, as well as pictures of different themed trees. This is easily adaptable to your own needs.
