This digital download gives you all 256 of our ready made activities in one place, covering the following 7 key strands of mathematics:
Counting Forwards/Backwards, ID & Understanding of Number, Mathematical Language, Place Value, Algebra, Fractions, Decimals and Percentages and Calculation, Problem Solving & Reasoning.
Each strand includes activities ranging from Introductory level to Stage 6. These are broadly based on F2 up to Y6 objectives but all are adaptable for differing abilities.
Each activity has been carefully designed to increase confidence and understanding in number by focusing on seeing patterns, scaffolding with models and using games and challenges to engage children in their learning.
They can be used in class as starters or in an intervention setting. Teaching assistants in particular, benefit from the structure they provide. Full training on this product and how it can be used with our Mathematical Ability Assessment is available on request. Printable resources (denoted where needed by a red!) are included in this download.
This download includes 36 challenges across all 7 strands of number for children working at Introductory Stage (broadly F2 objectives):
Counting, ID & Understanding, Mathematical Language, Place Value, Algebra, Fractions, Decimals & Percentages and Calculation, Problem Solving & Reasoning.
All these activities have been carefully designed to complement the initial developmental stages of mathematics and lay the groundwork to enable children to build confidence and make connections in number.
Use as classroom inspiration or to give interventions a real structure especially when used in conjunction with our Mathematical Ability Assessment (available separately).
Printable resources (where needed, denoted by a red ! are included in the download).
Play with your whole class or in small groups… this loop game offers a variety of images and language to reinforce the 1,2,3,5 & 10x tables. Enjoy!
This download contains 36 activities for children working at Stage 5 objectives (broadly Year 5 UK NC).
It covers Counting, ID & Understanding, Language, Place Value, Algebra, Fractions, Decimals & Percentages and Calculation, Problem Solving & Reasoning.

Language is key to using and applying mathematics successfully in the real world.
This pack of 28 language based activities contain varied, visual and interactive ideas suitable from Introductory Stage to Stage 6. Each can be adapted for differing abilities but cover a whole range of language development throughout the primary age range.
They are perfect for whole class starters or as part of an intervention and build confidence in language by encouraging children to focus on both common mathematical as well as more everyday language.
Printable resources (where needed denoted by a red !) are part of the digital download.
Without a secure understanding of place value, fluency in mathematics and the ability to manipulate and really understand numbers is impossible.
These 28 activities have been designed to build understanding, encourage children to explain and visualise numbers and create sturdy building blocks for calculation and problem solving.
7 stages of development are covered in the download which also includes printable resources.
Ensure children can see number relationships and make connections by focusing on identification and understanding of number.
This digital download includes 28 ID & Understanding of Number activities, carefully designed to address everything from basic number value and recognition, through odds and evens, number sequences, Roman Numerals, missing numbers and much more.
Printable resources (where needed denoted by a red !) are included to download alongside the challenge cards.
Making the link between fractions, decimals and percentages is crucial and these activities seek to help children make these connections early on.
With many real life and very practical applications of their knowledge, confidence can be built in what is often seen as a tricky area of maths.
This download features 28 increasingly challenging activities building from Introductory to Stage 6.
Keep basic skills fresh by counting regularly.
This pack of 60 counting activities contain varied, visual and interactive ideas suitable from Introductory Stage to Stage 6. Each can be adapted for differing abilities but cover the whole range of counting skills throughout the primary age range.
They are perfect for whole class starters or as part of an intervention and build confidence with number by encouraging children to see patterns and scaffolding with models.

We believe algebra begins the minute we start comparing groups of objects and using the equals symbol.
These 28 activities are all based on developing algebraic understanding, moving through 7 key stages of development.
Each works on visualising and explaining relationships between numbers with the aim that algebra becomes a less daunting area of mathematics.
This selection of 56 activities have been written to encourage children to question, explore and explain and are a great way to assess progress. Group activities, games and investigations are at their centre.
They cover a range of concepts and every stage of development from Introductory Stage to Stage 6.
This download contains 36 activities for children working at Stage 3 objectives ( broadly Year 3 UK NC).

This is a selection of 28 activities, fully resourced and ready to use. They have been designed to take children through all the developmental stages of multiplication and related division and as such are labelled as Steps 1-3. This is broadly appropriate for objectives from Y2-4 but are clearly for any child who is struggling with the concept.
All ensure that children have a strongly embedded understanding of multiplication and so will be fully ready to approach the upcoming Times Table Check with confidence.
Our Mathematical Ability Assessment was written in response to finding written assessments lacking in terms of finding out about children’s methods, reasoning and what they relied upon. We found that there was no better way to target gaps than through a verbal test where children feel more at ease.
The assessment is mostly conducted verbally (with some element of recording) and therefore allows practitioners to ask questions, observe thinking and get a fuller picture of a child’s mathematical ability.
It is divided into 7 main strands (Counting, ID & Understanding of Number, Language, Place Value, Algebra, Fractions, Decimals & Percentages and Calculation, Problem Solving & Reasoning) and allows you to very quickly establish at which level a child is operating in each one. It encourages note taking as you listen to and observe children’s working out. It can be used throughout the primary age range and covers objectives right from F2 to Y6.
It’s been tried and tested over the past 4 years in a wide range of settings and has been praised for its ease of use and how quickly it reveals what needs to be addressed.
‘We were amazed at how effectively and quickly it identified gaps. It really demonstrates how important it is to consider each strand of maths separately rather than lump it together into one level. We know where to start now!’ Maths Leader, Trial School
When used with our Multi Strand Challenges (available separately) it can form part of a well structured intervention programme and cuts down significantly on planning time. It’s proved invaluable for the teaching assistants who’ve trialed it.
Included in the download is the test itself, handbook, answer booklet and a lesson plan format for use in an intervention setting.
This bundle includes both our assessment and multi strand challenges which have been written in conjunction with each other.
Our Mathematical Ability Assessment works across the entire primary age range to quickly identify misconceptions and gaps. Paired with the Multi Strand Challenges you can create a well structured, scaffolded intervention programme from Day 1.
