Spelling Game - Code Breaker
Practice spelling whilst having fun!
Students are each given the ‘code breaker key’ which should be stuck into their class books. They are then shown five sets of numbers which they then need to decode using their key to find the words. (A=1, B=2, C=3 etc.)
Perfect as a starer activity or as part of a spelling intervention. PowerPoint contains twenty five sets of five words.

A Christmas Carol 20 Comprehension Extract Worksheets
A set of 20 well-organised and visually appealing comprehension worksheets for the novella ‘A Chrsitmas Carol’.
Each worksheet is based around a key extract from the novella, and includes a set of comprehension questions, along with a set of challenge questions to encourage students to make links, use their inference skills and consider the writers’ intentions.
Each worksheet also includes five word definition tasks that will support understanding whist reading the extract and expand vocabulary.
