Finding The Theme In A Story Worksheet

(0)
This resource helps students practice finding the theme of a story in a fun way. Students can read and reinforce the definitions for the themes and then the students can read a story and determine which theme is in the story. They can then answer some discussion questions about character actions, their own chooses in life, beliefs and society. There are 10 stories to work through and discuss. My students love this task as it is great for reinforcing themes and generating discussion. This makes a great theme review for years 5 to 9 or 10 to 14 year olds. In the US it is applicable to be used with 4th to 9th grade students. However, it is mainly used with 4th, 5th and 6th grade students.
