This resource introduces learners to basic equations. It then progresses to solving equations which involve mulitplication of a variable e.g. 2x = 20 so x = 10. It then progresses to solving two step equations by using the balancing strategy. For each topic covered the Powerpoint has a few quick questions and links to games that can be played on an IWB with learners.

This is a great resource for helping pupils to reflect on 2023 and also set targets and goals for 2024. These can be school related goals or personal goals. It uses simple child friendly language with sentence prompts like I hope that… I want to… My goal is… I want to… Pupils can then colour and cut this out and it makes a lovely display.
