Online Lesson: Energy and Energy Transfers
This is an overview lesson for the topic of energy and energy transfers. It is designed for a live lesson format but can be used for in person lessons too. It contains colourful slides with regular pictures to draw the viewers attention, whilst focussing on key scientific principles involved in the topic.
The lesson has been based on the AQA specification but is applicable to other specifications too. It is designed for a broad range of abilities and contains challenge questions and support to keep all pupils following attentively.
Chapter 3: Ecosystems - Lesson Pack (Whole Unit) - Lower Cambridge Secondary Science (Stage 7)
This is a simple and adaptable set of lessons covering the topics from Lower Cambridge Secondary Science (Stage 7) Chapter 3. It can also be used “out of the box”.
The learning objectives covered are:

There is presentation of key content all backed up by real AQA exam questions. My experience is that the lesson takes about 12 hours of teaching for a high attaining set, and would be longer with middle or low attainers.
