Aimed at AQA GCSE RE pupils but may also be useful for OCR and Edexcel and for Y9, Y10 or Y11 pupils. The worksheet introduces euthanasia including as GCSE topic. Includes PPT slides on: the law in UK and 1961 Suicide Act active vs. passive euthanasia types and forms of euthanasia doctors switching off life-support machines moral views on euthanasia religious attitudes to euthanasia - Christian and Muslim arguments for and against Should take around 60 minutes to deliver but could be longer up to 90 minutes or double lesson with added discussion.
