This is a fun filled resource that will have your class excited to do math! The Easter Bunny has been kidnapped! Without him who will deliver the Easter Eggs? Your students must solve the math questions in order to find clues to who committed the crime. All answers are included for teachers. There are 5 pages of clues. Clue 1 - Equivalent Fractions Clue 2 - Place Value Clue 3 - Addition and subtraction Clue 4 - Multiplication Clue 5 - Division Once students have solved the math mystery, they are given a writing exercise. There are two options. They can either write a newspaper article about the arrest of the kidnapper; or write a story outlining how they caught the kidnapper! Finally, a certificate is included for all those who solve the mystery.

A word search puzzle worksheet featuring vocabulary related to St Patrick’s Day. Use this to introduce vocab or as a treat for early finishers. Kids love puzzles; and word searches are a great way to improve spelling while having fun. Create a magic e word from a CVC word Spelling list, read- cover- write practice Match the word to the picture Write the correct word under the picture Choose a word to complete the sentence Read the paragraph and identify words containing the vowel and magic e There are 16 flashcards containing the original word and the new word after the magic e. There are two worksheets designed to access students once they have learned all the vowels with magic e. There is also an interactive game that can be played with 2-6 players.

This product is designed to help children learn the suffixes -tion and -sion. It includes a presentation and 3 different worksheets. The presentation explains what a suffix is and also explains what -tion and -sion means when used as suffixes. There are differentiated activities included in the presentation. Activities include, matching the word to the meaning, dictionary work and writing sentences. There is also a page which explains the spelling rules for the suffixes. Two of the activity sheets are “complete the sentence” activities with 10 sentences on each sheet. Answer sheets are provided to make the teacher’s life a little easier. The last activity sheet is an assessment of the suffixes -tion and -sion. It contains two exercises. The first, requires children to find a suitable word for the meaning given. The second exercise asks students to write the correct ending to the root word in order to complete the sentence. All files are saved as PDFs so make sure your device can open PDF files.
