An interactive lesson focusing on how humans are disrupting and interfering with our water supplies. The main part of this lesson is the Water Game - like the jelly baby population game but for water, so you will need to buy sweets for this! I was intending to use blue millions for the water supply but had to resort to tallying on post-it notes instead. It can get quite loud, but students loved playing the game and were extremely engaged. Following the game, students then take a look at Coca-Cola as a case study to stretch their learning further. All resources are fully differentiated and include a support sheet with definitions of key words on for lower ability. Introductory lesson to tourism in Kenya before moving onto ecotourism. A range of activities within this lesson, including a group decision-making exercise/role play.
