Two interactive presentations with an assessment (a lesson long, 40 marks/40 mins)
Plan (Lesson 1-2)
Learning Objectives
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
Define matter and explain its two key properties.
Describe the three states of matter (solid, liquid, gas) and their characteristics.
Explain how temperature and pressure affect the states of matter.
Differentiate between physical properties of solids, liquids, and gases (volume, shape, fluidity, compression).
Identify and explain changes in states of matter, including melting, freezing, evaporation, boiling, condensation, and sublimation.
Analyze the effects of pressure on boiling points and apply this concept to real-world examples.
Define pure substances and impurities and describe their effects on melting and boiling points.
Interpret heating and cooling curves to understand phase transitions.
Importance of rate
Collision theory
Surface area

This is a new project for Chemistry teachers especially for NQTs. It includes scheme of work with objectives. By the time it is going to include lesson plans and assessments. For now, you can find a part of the scheme of work, some lesson plans and end of chapter exam for a unit.
In future I keep adding the resources as they are ready. Save your time and enjoy.
Do not forget to write your feedback..
This documents is ideal for the 5th form students starting to AS level Chemistry. It is an overview of all types of chemical bonding with different types of questions. It contains some features of organic chemistry.
