Students will write a description based on trench life from the perspective of a soldier during WW1. Differentiated using aim/challenge/super challenge.

4 x Christmas themed lessons aimed at KS3 and KS4. 2 lessons are based on descriptive writing - one involving writing a description of a Christmas market and one lesson using the ‘show don’t tell’ techniques to write a description of the Snowman coming to life. 2 lessons are on persuasive writing using the Rang-tan advert and the Band Aid Christmas song ‘Do they know it’s Christmas time?’ All lessons differentiated using the GCSE mark scheme and aim/challenge/super challenge.
