It also focuses on building topic-specific vocabulary and reviewing the conjugation of relevant verbs. It includes answers and tutor notes and would work well in a classroom setting (some tasks would be great prep or consolidation homework tasks).

This editable 13 page booklet comprises 10 activities including 3 listening activities with audio recorded by a native French speaker, 4 reading activities and 3 speaking activities all around the theme of “La Fête de la musique”. This would be perfect for the theme of celebrations and festivals for GCSE . There are also lots of opportunities to practise ‘chunks’ of language and simple structures including the present tense with depuis, the perfect tense (je suis allé) and the simple future (il y aura / j’irai). Many of the activities are inspired by Conti so encourage lots and lots of repetition. The answers are included and the link to the audio file can be found in the Tutor Notes on page 8 .
