I have covered both discrete and continuous data and, for the latter, I would expect the more able students to be able to use linear interpolation to estimate the median - so I have included questions on this, though they can be omitted if not needed. Answers are included. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

Equally Likely Events - with answers

This is a basic worksheet covering the introduction to Probability I wished to stress the basic facts that examiners expected candidates to know, such as how many cards in a standard deck? which letters are vowels as well as number properties. So I created this worksheet to cover as many of these ideas as possible. I have found it useful for the introduction of Probability and also some revision at foundation level. ****Answers are included.

This pdf consists of 10 questions on Mean, Mode and Median of discrete with a small range - frequency tables are covered in a seperate worksheet. The first question (with around 20 parts) is simply finding Mean, Mode and Median and I used this with year 7 and also used it to discuss RANGE. The second set of questions I tended to do in Year 8 or 9 but can be used for revision with lower ability groups - these questions explore the pupils understanding of Mean. Ideal for the introduction of Mean, Mode, Median and Range and also useful for a revision worksheet. Answers are included.

Sine, Cosine & Tangent of any Angle for GCSE - With Answers

(0)
Aimed at higher level GCSE students, this is a set of worksheets I use to teach my top set how to use the Sine, Cosine and Tangent graphs. There are four worksheets and a display poster which I have always used as a refresher. Useful Trig Values - this is the display sheet which reminds pupils to learn the value of Sin 30°, cos 45° etc. The Sine Of Any Angle - Starts with the graph of y = sin(x) between 0° and 360° and asks students to find the angle whose sine is 0.5 etc. - no point in asking them to find the sine of 150 though as the calculator will do this. The Cosine Of Any Angle - obviously the same idea as the first sheet but using Cosine. The Tangent Of Any Angle - and the same again but using Tan graph. Sin, Cos and Tan Of Any Angle - 26 questions which are miscellaneous, including solving basic trig equations and squares Answer Sheet
