This is a problem solving activity. Students have to match the character/clues to the correct horoscope. This FREE fun activity has been adapted from a thinking skills exercise and can be used as a lesson starter, tutor time or end-of-term fun activity. There are two versions, one in UK pounds and the other in dollars (as some of the clues have a monetary element in them) and also the answer sheets. Aimed at primary school students in Years 3-6.

This is an EDITABLE template to play four in a row. Just type one word in each of the 30 boxes from the sight words, or weekly spellings as required. You can repeat some words if students are struggling with them, or even incorporate two weeks spellings onto the one template. You will need : Completed template (laminated if desired) 30 counters of two different colours (e.g. 15 red, 15 yellow) Dice Working in pairs, roll the dice (e.g. 5) and then correctly read one of the words in the 5 column and place their counter on that word. The aim is then to get their four counters (of the same colour) in either a horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction.
