These resources are to support teachers in delivering Andrew Moffat’s No Outsiders scheme. In order to use these resources you will need the lesson plans from the No Outsiders book and the accompanying book. These resources are designed to include discussion around the theme of the lesson and some follow up questions. There are PowerPoints for each lesson, presentation scores to be glued into children’s books and follow up questions to be glued into children’s books.

A resource that I use to read Danny the Champion of the World to a class. I read the book while using my clicker which shows the illustrations. We read a story to the children at the end of each day. In the first session we learn a little bit about the author. At the beginning of every reading sessions we unpick some of the words/phrases so that the children know what these words mean. I set the children a challenge to listen out for these words/phrases and they raise their hand when they hear them.
