I am a Secondary English teacher (PGCE with QTS) from the UK, currently based in the UAE with a focus on excellent teaching; dedicated to providing creative and memorable learning experiences for students. I have mentored students for the Oxford University Press Story Writing competition and the Emirates Literature Foundation Poetry competition, instilling a sense of reverence for all things literary. In my experiences as an educator in the UK and the UAE, I have fostered heartening, positive relationships with students, built on a foundation of mutual respect and understanding. My teaching philosophy centres around creativity and innovation, inspiring students on their learning journeys to reach their full potential in whatever they do. I envision a future for our youth where they are equipped with lifelong learning and the right values, qualities and skills to flourish beyond their school life.
