A great set of starting points for deep level thinking..... I have them displayed in my classrooms!

A fun resource that children can use to match the number of buttons to the number placed in the red box! All you need is to print, laminate and add some buttons!

Use pegs to peg on the number of legs the spider needs! Can be adapted for addition and subtraction games too!

Work out the missing diagraphs! Children can then write or use magnetic letters to fill in the gaps!

Great Target practise for counting in 5's!

As part if our towers and tiaras theme I have made a phone book full of traditional tale characters for the children to help solve problems! The focus was recognising 2 digit numbers, so the children got to challenge themselves reading the numbers and calling the character of their choice to help them! Added with a few telephones the children love it!

Be a detective and use magnify glasses to read the HFW, write down the evidence on the template provided! Great game!
