A KS1 SATs style comprehension using a fiction text based on the Great Fire of London. Great to use as a whole class text, in guided reading sessions or as SATs practice.

A short reading comprehension based around how Mother’s Day is celebrated. Questions are based around small sections of text and designed to help collect evidence for the Teacher Assessment Framework and preparation for SATs.

A unit of planning (6 sessions) for KS1 gymnastics focusing on creating simple sequences including working with a partner and working on wallbars. Includes assessment windscreens for end of the unit. LO: To be able to name and demonstrate the 5 basic gym shapes with increasing control and balance. To explore a range of apparatus using different shapes, directions, levels and speeds.
