Also revises colours and numbers. The last page of the book is for the children to colour the cats that are mentioned in the book. There are 13 pages in total. A fun way to learn and practise Christmas vocabulary in French. There is a gap-fill vocabulary worksheet and a 'Qu’est-ce que c’est…? worksheet where an answer sheet is provided. Included is a colouring activity which tests comprehension. This is a fairly challenging activity which should keep them busy for hours, well, a long time at least. Useful for early finishers, or could be given as a treat for working hard in class. The focus is on le passé composé, using a variety of verbs that take the auxilary verb avoir or être and also the use of reflexive verbs in the past tense to describe a daily routine. Revises and recaps: time, time phrases, food, drinks, negatives, school subjects, likes and dislikes, rooms in a house and a direct object pronoun.
