This resource is ideal of all secondary year groups. I currently use from Yr7 through to yr11 to support all drawing elements. I currently use as a printed, laminated a3 sheet one between two and have out in all lessons that involve drawing and use a support and scaffolding tool, referring to often, encouraging independent thinking and confidence building, facilitating resillient, independent learners.

I created this resource as a table hand out to support students in lower year groups or classes that are less confident in their learning. This prompt helps students remember who to ask and how. This could also be used as a poster in the classroom.

I created this document to support students when creating Artist Research pages in their sketchbooks. I use this resource to present in class as well as printed as a temporary display. The outcomes of students work since using this have vastly increased, especially when used along side an annotation guide. The presentation includes the key elements that artist research should include, Clear and creative title - hints and tricks how to create. Images of the artists work - hints and tricks on how to present. Your own response - hints and tricks on how to create. Annotations - hints and tricks on how to layout.

Annotation support contains writing frame for students who have barriers to learning and those who are more confident, as well as example material and a formal element word bank, that can be used as a visual resource, hand out or poster. Hints and tricks contains support and information for all the key elements required to make a successful artist research study. Information on how to create annotation, typography for titles, secondary imagery support and ideas of ways to present personal response. Both of these resources together support key stage three and students at GCSE who need more scaffolding, in creating engaging and dynamic critical studies. Both resources can be used as a presentation, hand out, poster or sketchbook inserts.

Learning journey confidence tracker

This document is designed to be for students to use to track how they feel over the duration of a project and to reflect upon at the end. This tracker has space for the teacher to write what the project, out comes and key skills are. This is a five week tracker but can easily be altered to make longer. The purpose of this document is to enable a student to develop their understanding of the correlation between how confident they feel in a project and their attainment, which in turn will support the teacher in supporting the students development to the best of their ability. For more nervous students this is also an opportunity to document how they feel in a non intrusive way. I have used this across Key stage 3 and 4 and it has worked wonderfully. For trainee teachers ... I have designed and used this for my own PGCE in Art and Design for part of an assignment where we had to design a resource. This has also been used in two different schools with success in meeting standards and demonstrating progress. A good attribute for evidence folders and proof of reflective teaching,
