Reasoning with Multiplication - Always, Sometimes, Never

(3)
Children decide whether the given statement is true all of the time, some of the time or never. I used these sheets to follow up a lesson where children needed to make a decision and prove to the rest of the class why they were correct. They needed to make an argument and provide evidence in the form of examples or diagrams and present this to the class. There is space for a picture to be stuck in of the children presenting their thinking

Two step addition and subtraction word problems. Answers provided for both steps for the first 4 questions. Children need to work out the appropriate number sentences for each step. The next four questions are a similar style to the first four. Children must calculate the answers. There is a second sheet provided for children who still need the scaffold of the answers.

A lesson all about tolerance and independent learning. Children need to discover how when and where different religions pray with minimal teacher input. Children rotate between four tables. Each table is set up with artifacts, books, ipads/laptops and the information picture sheets provided. If possible choose a mini expert from the class for each religion to help answer questions. All of my classes love this lesson!

WW1 Trenches EAL work unit.

This resource is for EAL children who are very new to English. It uses grids to help them write independently about the trenches in WW1. It covers prepositions and the use of adjectives (colours). I originally made this for a child from Romania. As a result the current translations are in Romanian but this can be changed and edited depending on the language that you need.
