Lesley1264's Shop

Average Rating3.73
(based on 66 reviews)

This shop provides resources for busy PSHE/Citizenship teachers who find that the subject is constantly 'on the move'. I am Head of Department in a secondary school and I am constantly changing the resources that we use as things change in the world around us. The introduction of British Values as a separate topic has been challenging but I hope that the resources on offer here will help you to facilitate these sessions. I also teach English (my specialism) so there are English resources too.

We use this with a small booklet of pictures of main characters. Pupils are asked to write the quotations around the character (spider diagram) and then find more from the book. This could be easily changed into a colour-coding task or a quiz-type starter activity. Includes pictures from the Patrick Stewart version

A number of worksheets (including extract activity) which can be made into a mini booklet to help pupils analyse the change in Scrooge by Stave 5. Looks at language, writing detailed explanations/analysis and creating PEA/PEE chains. I created this as groundwork for an end of term assessment which will ask how and why Scrooge changes throughout the novel.

La Belle Dame Sans Merci and A Child to his Sick Grandfather used but any poems can be inserted. Also includes the mnemonic sheet
