The question stems are sorted into tables for content domains 1A-1E for KS1 and 2A-2H for KS2 and next to each question stem is the original question from the SATs paper so that you can see an example of how to use it. Also included is a list of all the question types which have ever been used e.g. ‘ordering question’, ‘tick a drawing question’. This document can be used to create your own reading comprehension which reflects the new content and will prepare pupils for the reading SATs.
